Grilled Salmon with Garlic Sauce

Ingredients:-

  1. 1 lb Salmon
  2. 1 tbsp minced garlic
  3. 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  4. 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  5. 2 1/2 tbsp Olive oil
In this recipe the marinade for the salmon is itself the sauce over the grilled salmon. For the marinade, mix minced garlic, Dijon mustard and soy sauce in a bowl. Whip in the olive oil. Take the salmon and slice it in half across the length. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon pieces and coat the pieces well. Heat a grill pan on medium-high heat and place the salmon pieces, skin-side down first, on the hot pan. If you don't have a grill pan, use a frying pan with a very small amount of olive oil on it so that the salmon pieces will not stick to the pan. Avoid using too much oil in the frying pan because the olive oil in the marinade will be released while the salmon starts cooking. Cook the salmon on each side for 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, pour the other half of the marinade over the grilled salmon pieces to keep them moist. Serve immediately.

  1. Cooked this recipe for dinner yesterday. It turned out to be yummy! Just baked n broiled instead of grilling and added a bit of paprika to make it spicy.
